Google was quick to solve the problem and now Youtube is back online and running as usual. However, this little 20 minutes of idle time created a veritable deluge of tweets on Twitter and even in other social networks on the service down.

For now (as at the time of writing this article) Google has not released any statement about the lack of availability of Youtube, but there are rumors that this could have been an attack by hackers from China, as we all know about the tension between Google and China during the last days. However, these are just rumors and we can not base our belief in them.

We will update this article as soon as there is an official statement about the downtime today.
